~ These are the lesser-known lebkuchen companies which existed in the past. ~
The following is the list of German Lebkuchen companies discovered so far, whose names begin with the letters
O through Z. At least one tin is known to exist for these O - Z companies (have seen on eBay.de), & if there's one in the Tins of Taste collection* (although in storage at this time), it will be posted to this page someday!

Website information says this bakery's baking history goes back to 1905. They're in a town northeast & close to Nurnberg: Burgebrach. (Today they use no "tinplate" containers, only paper.)

9 - Weiss, Max -or- Max Weiss
Below: An 8-sided tin with the 4 figures repeating. The logo on the bottom is a bird with WEISS. But on the rim there is a 153/3 number which generally means this is the 3rd in a possible yearly series. But one other item that's opening up another door of discovery, is that there is that "helicopter"-type image with the number! THIS is on the large Otto Schmidt "Festive Chest"-sized tins, the 730/3 & 740/4, which I believe were made prior to the 735/xx series which began in 1956 & is still continuing today! Now this has got me to wondering if, just by chance, this symbol is for the company which made these tins?!?
10 ~ Weissella (of Max Weiss)
Max Weiss began his baking business in 1925.
In 1994, Weiss Spezialitäten was acquired by the Lambertz Group.

A domed-cover, 5-6-stuck lithographed tin; 4.5"rd x 4.5"; $9.85 eBay.de + $4.30 S&H in 2025; (TTM#4424)
15 - Zucker-Bär (i.e. Sugar Bear)
This tin is also on the "Germany H - N" page in #15 -Zucker-Bär (with KARL B*A*R). There's some combo history with the various names, but the same K Z B bear logo used on the tins.
