In 1820?/1831? Henry Lambertz created his version of Printe/Printen (a kind of Lebkuchen/cookie). The company remains in family ownership today and has acquired many older Lebkuchen companies related to Lebkuchen tins:

Since I'm not in Germany, it's been difficult to get tins representing the above Lebkuchen companies for the past few years, if Lebkuchen was made under their name & sold in a tin. There had been a distributor through 2023 from whom I could buy a wide variety of various companies' tins of a wide range of cookies, Lebkuchen, & such. Then the website closed! The Lambertz Company, itself, produces a great variety of what we'd call "cookies." And are they ever good! For years the Sam's Club imported tins of this style filled with this same kind of cookie, from Belgium. This tin of cookies was made in Poland, for the Lambertz Compny, and imported via Sam's Club (Member's Mark). (TTM#4011)

Years unknown, but all have music boxes enclosed. I know there were 10-15 years, maybe mid-'90s through 2012, when Walmart would have these individual music box tins, filled with a bag of some cookie like sugar or shortbread.
These were from back in the 1980s when we lived in England & Germany. The two blue rectangles are music boxes.
